Gardening has long been a proud British pastime and one of the best hobbies a person can have. It reduces depression, anxiety, and stress-related symptoms, making it a beneficial activity for just about everyone.

Sadly, it has become a distant activity for many due to the lack of lawns, gardens or outside spaces on offer in large cities. London is home to nearly 3,000 parks, but what these acres of spaces don’t offer is the ability to independently plant, pick or grow our own produce. This is where community gardens come in.
